Positive: We loved the amazing harbour views. Despite being on a busy corner the house was relatively quiet. Being high up on the side of the crater, the house had great views, but even so the walk into town was not onerous - walking into London Street (and the good coffee) only had a little bit of steep pathway. Even though it was proper winter - ice on the car in the morning - the house was toasty warm, and not dusty! Also it was free from hideous deodorizing sprays that can make b and bs very hard to stay at. It was so easy to self-cater - and manage our laundry with the euro laundry cupboard. We had such a lovely time venturing out from our home base and would recommend it for anyone. There is only one bathroom/toilet so you might need to travel with understanding roommates if you were a big group. It was perfect for us (2pp)
